Gallien-Krueger Neo 212-II Bass Guitar Cabinet (600 Watt) Review

I've been looking for a great compromise cab: Something louder than a 2x10 or a 1x15, something lighter and cheaper than a 4x10. I think this cab is it.

It's light, it's loud, it fits in the front seat of my car. It's got a great, rich, middy tone. It's got a decent horn.

You could come up short in a loud 5-piece rock band using only this cab by itself. But a pair of them might be a pretty killer rig for someone who wants to get away from hauling a pair of 4x10s around.

(Note: This is not the original Neo 212, it's the 212-II. Which means it's squarer, doesn't come with casters and is 15 pounds lighter. Some web sites may show you photos of a taller, more rectangular cab--that's the old one.)
