I was born and raised on medium Fender 346 picks. I failed to read the description and bought the heavy ones. I kept them, but quickly purchased mediums too.

Now I don't use the mediums anymore, at least not for acoustic guitar playing. The heavy picks actually produce a more mellow and controlled sound, not as sensitive to poor technique, the kind of technique that I end up with after playing for an hour straight! Strangest thing is that I rarely drop these picks, unlike the mediums.

The Fender 346 will remain my go-to pick for as long as they make them, but I weigh-in heavy from now on!
