I loved these strings. They have a great look and feel, but better than that they have a fantastic sound. They felt somewhat slippery for the first couple of days, probably due to the coating they used. After just a couple of days, the strings felt like any other I've used. The strings were extremely responsive at first, but that too toned down after the first couple of days. I used these for alternate turnings and they held up great. Highly recommended!

I bought the mediums and I really like the sound they produce on my electric (using 9's or 10's). I read the comments saying how they broke but I bought them anyhow because I liked the colors and style. I have always had good results with Fender picks (and other products).
The picks did grind down a bit but they did not actually break. I just kept changing sides as it wore down. I think that "softness" is a large part of the nice sound. I was strummning a little enthusiastically just to see if I could break one but it did not happen. So, given the sound, the feeling of the pick,and the performance, I would buy them again; try another color. Oh, btw, the palm tree logo did not wear off at all while I used a pick.

This bag is well made,light,and sits fractionally higher than my levy's bag.For the price of the bag they should have included the tick,which is an extra little case that attaches to the bag.It has one pocket that could house an ipad strap,chord and a medium size folder of music.The tick was designed for added stuff like pedals etc.It wont give you the same protection as the new Reunion Blues case,but it is lighter and more flexible in design.If you need a bag on the road where you are constantly packing and unpacking buy the new Reunion Blues Soft/hard case.If you travel less and need to use the case on say a cruise ship gig where you are constantly in and out of the case then the Mono would work better.There are bags out there a lot cheaper,but I had a bass damaged because water got into the bottom of the bag.In fact even one of my hard shell cases was ruined.Had I had this Mono vertigo case it would not have happened.Now that I have used the Mono case on a daily basis more things come to mind.Putting the bass in the case is a bit tight if you have settings that you like to use on your guitar they will no longer be there when you take the bass out of the case as the controls get moved putting the bass in and out of the case.If you like leaving your strap attached with strap locks it could represent a problem closing the case depending on how thick your strap is.The shoulder straps are very comfortable but the need of straps to fasten over your chest I don't find useful and just makes the bag look less tidy flapping around.I,m wondering how long the material will last inside the bag with the round wound strings rubbing up against th bag on a daily basis, also from the neck support to the head stock there are string indentations on the material.The quality of the bag one can only but wait and see over the years.Would I buy another one? Probably not.I don't think these bags are worth the money, then again there isn,t much out there to choose from when you looking for features in a bag at a good price.

I purchased this Nanuk 945 case with padded dividers recently and was definitely impressed!
Being a professional photographer for over 10 years I own many other cases like Pelican, Lightware, Domke, etc...
The beauty of this case is the excellent build quality and the locking latches. While traveling, finding my pelican case open and exposed at the baggage claim because the latches popped open during flight was not a good thing.
The latches have a safety lock that needs to be pressed before opening the latch which solves the latch failure problem.
With the padded dividers I can fit my whole arsenal of medium format and dslr equipment in one case.

EMINENCE LEGENDV128 12-Inch Lead/Rhythm Guitar Speakers Review

I just recently purchase a Fender frontman 65R 1x12 and it sounds good out of the box,not bad. but after three rehearsals and couple of live shows,I knew it wasn't gonna cut it with the stock speakers cause it started to fart out at band volumes at certain times. I'm mostly on the dirty channel 80% of the time we play pretty loud heavy rock and this little guy can hang well!

I wanted a better speaker to tame the high end down alot and bring out the mids and lows without it farting out at band level. wow! was I surprise,this amp now has an awesome warmth and clarity and thats not bad for a solid state amp. it also felt more spongy feel to it like an amp with an EL84 tubes! remember this is a solid state amp. my high end is no longer britlle sounding but alot sweeter,mids are warm,low end can chunk well!

Higly recommend the Eminence Legend V12 if you have a fender frontman 65R 1x12 or the fender frontman 100watt 2x12.
It makes the overdrive/distortion channel alot more alive and user friendly at high volumes(band level that is!)
I also tried legend V12 with a fender hot rod deville 2x12 and it gave it a mean crunch!

Jensen C8R 25W 8" Replacement Speaker 4 ohm Review

Purchased for a home-built 8 watt tube amp project. I'm a fan of Jensen speakers' quality, reliability, and value. I've used a pair of the vintage originals literally for decades, in a couple different cabinets and amps with no issues - so it was an easy choice to stick with Jensen. Quality of the C8R build is on par with the 60s version, a very faithful reproduction. Classic ceramic magnet, paper cone, stamped frame construction. Doesn't need extended break-in to sound decent, maybe a wee bit harsh in the upper midrange but I'm sure that after 20 or so hours of use it will mellow out just like my 45 year old ones have ;-)

This is a great sounding speaker, a bit nicer (IMO) than the Jensen MOD series and rated for a little more power. If I build more amps or cabinets, I'll be using Jensens and probably CxR series speakers.
