I didn't have time to get the Copper Peace saddle leather Old Style skinny strap (http://shop.copperpeace.com/collections/guitar-straps/products/oldstyle-guitar-strap-saddle-brown) so I dropped by the local shop and picked up this lone strap. I have been playing guitar and bass for 40 years. Straps have come and gone like the guitars they once held up. My requirements for a strap have been distilled down from flashy, elegant, wide, nylon, leather, snake skin, elastic, foam, plushy and useless to a more austere approach. The strap accomplishes three things very well: It holds the guitar where I need it, It's comfortable and it doesn't draw attention away from the beautiful "flavor of the month" guitar I'm playing. And, I don't feel like I'm hiding behind a sofa. No, it does not have that "look at me" quality some people require. But the way I see it, if you need a flashy strap to produce good music or to enhance your "stage presence".....you have much bigger worries in life to tend to.
