i really didn't know what "anodized" meant when I bought it but glad it means metal. looks real nice with my white strat and white hot gold lace sensors and i even drilled a hole for the mini toggle to give it a gilmour mod. hole drilling not a problem after getting it going with a paring knife. highly recommended
