I've been using the standard dimarzio 36th anniversary PAF for 4+ yrs now but it still sounds somewhat
overwound strat at times. anyways I remember back in the early 90's how good the PAF Pro sounded on my rig,it had warmth and some serious clarity!solo notes cut through and don't sound tiny,you could chunk on the low end if you need to.

After installing a new Dimarzio PAF PRO on the bridge position of my guitar, it Definitely does not sound like a overwound strat at all. It also pairs up real good with area 58 in the neck and middle of my alder body/maple fretboard maple neck guitar. During a live set it blends well with the band and more! I'm a Dimarzio PAF PRO for life now! been giggin for the past 20+ yrs and also tried sooooo many pick ups, and for me this is my go to bridge pick up. I should've stuck to this when I discovered it during late 80's early 90's! and there's a reason why its still around since 1986. It holds itself well whether you have tons of rack system set up or lines of pedals. Highly recommend it! specially if your ask to play different styles of music during gigs sometimes on the spot....
