Boss MT-2 Metal Zone Supreme Mod Kit for MT2 Review

Fast shipping & delivery. Now I was expecting a noticeable difference, but this by far exceeded my expectations. Instructions are crystal clear, and I did not get stuck on any part of the install. The Metal Zone in stock form has a somewhat generic/sterile sound, but the mid frequency knobs helped the masses tweak their metal tone enough to make this pedal a classic. But after installing this kit, the distortion still has a big pair (no metal castration involved), but the sound became more organic, and is actually useable at lower distortion settings. I also noticed the tone pots/eq is better balanced, especially the 2 mid controls. My old MT-2 was stashed away (more or less for memory), and my main distortion pedals were a Visual Sound Jeckyl & Hyde, or an MXR Fullbore. Now after installing this kit, I have sold both the Jeckyl Hyde and the Fullbore, and my old MT-2 has reclaimed it's spot on my pedal board.
