I am so glad I found the shark fin pick. It is the best flat pick I have ever used. I had previously used John Pearce tortoise shell picks, but have found that the shark fin point gives me a sharper attack but also has the versatility of the smooth or corrugated edge for a softer attack and for a strumming/pick combo. I will never use another pick.....period. I gave this one 5 stars, however I did end up ordering the 1.3 mm "purple" pick, as I preferred a little heavier pick.The 1.0mm would probably be plenty heavy for most players, but the 1.3 was closer to the JP tortoise shell I was used to. I highly recommend that anyone try out this pick, I'm sure you will be pleased.
