Boss FB-2 Feedbacker/Booster Effect Pedal Review

I own about 30 or so pedals and not one of them is a BOSS pedal. Oh, I've given them chances over the years but with always less than promised results. The FB-2 Feedback/Booster is no different. I purchased this mainly for the feedback option. When you step on the pedal and hold it down your amp starts to feedback. The only problem with this is when you take your foot off the pedal the boost remains on. Not useful as a feedbacker because of this. I also couldn't find the sweet spot on the feedbacker. It takes too long to start feeding back which is not useful in a song setting, or it opens up so quickly as to sound unnatural. With the feedback knob turned up it sounds more like delay oscillation than real feedback. The boost is okay, but even set for a clean boost it still colors the tone of my amp. Had high hopes for this but, I should've known better.
