I own a Dean 4 string EABC, so i guess it goes with out showing that it would fit. Though i was abit nervous in the first place, being the bass is pretty fat compared to most cases i've seen.
I'd like to say it fit like a glove, which as a whole it does, but there is ALOT of room in the neck area. This really isn't the worst thing, lucky its not smaller, but because of how girthy the body is in comparison to the neck, it kinda "swims" in the extra space. It also has about an inch or two of space in length, so if you thought the bass was tall enough, imagine it on your back. I have to duck to get through doorways.
The handles could be better placed. Since its so bottom heavy, it shifts the weight by alot, and the loose neck doesn't really help the situation. I'm afraid if i hold it by its handles it could but too much stress on the neck, so i just use the back straps. All the handles are good for, In my opinion, is easing it from your back to the ground.
The bag is made out of some sort of canvas, and lined with foam. Its good enough to ensure a snug fit for the body, and some light battering, like setting it down, but you wouldn't wanna drop it. It also ISN'T water resistant/proof, so if you're in a place like Washington State, like me, you might wanna consider putting some Scotch-Gard on it or something, though i haven't done that myself yet.
The pockets are pretty big too, so that's a plus. You got a super big one in the front, and another relatively large one on the neck. Its good for your note books or really anything else. you can really cram it full of stuff.
In general, the bag is so roomy, I'm able to fit into it:
Acoustic Bass(of coarse), Notebooks, Digitech BP80, chords, Blu-ray player, Blu-rays, strap, and that's not using the littlest pocket. (Though, i pack the Blu-ray disks in the bag in the loose area of the neck.)

The long and short of it: Its good for what it is....Mobility for your Acoustic.
