I just want to clear the air.. the only time there is no hum on this amp is when its turned off or turned way down.. at moderate volumes and slight amount of gain you get a 60 cycle hum... with nothing attached.. (what it needs and doesn't have is a ground lift switch .. It is still a great amp but it isnt noiseless by any stretch of the imagination.. I rate it a 4/5 cuz of the hum
