I do a lot of creative multitrack recording and as a guitarist I wanted to get more sounds out of my guitar. Some patches sound better than others and some track better than others but overall it's a great unit. Hear how I used it on my latest YouTube song/video- Go to channel PetepopGTR1 and check out my song "Transformation". The synth comes in around the 1:30 mark. You can hear the cello, piano and string sounds. They sound awesome. I'd give it 5 stars but I'm a pretty fast player and sometimes certain patches can't keep up with me.

This is the "Airbourne" pattern but I've also seen it referred to as "Stained Glass". You can see straps with this pattern in concert footage from the 60's. Waves iGTR Modeling Guitar Headphone Amp Review

I bought it to have a headphone amp to practice with and I returned it after a day of playing with it. I thought the amp models were weak and mostly unusable, and the reberb was especially dissappointing. I exchanged it for the Line 6 Pocket Pod Express for only $30 more and I'm so glad I did. All the sounds on the Pocket Pod Express sound cool and it has 2 kinds of sweet reverb - awesome! I do like the way the iGTR looks, but it doesn't make up for the sound quality.

Don't waste your money on the iGTR unless you just can't afford the extra 30 bucks for the Line 6. The iGTR will do it's job, just poorly.
