I really like the mellow attack. I don't like the washboard-like clicking sound that thin picks give. It sounds like a playing card in the bicycle spokes of some little kid riding down the road. Not a fan of that sound at all in my music. These picks are 1mm (heavy) picks. They are firm enough to give the strings a good, strong pluck and thick enough not to click too much. Nice beefy, jazzy tone. I love the grip holes. They make a big difference to me. I have some smooth, flat picks and they are harder to hold than these Pos-a-Grip picks.
