A second guitar is a must-have on stage or in the studio. But in transit, carrying two guitars has always been a necessary evil. We set out to design an elegant solution to this problem. Our driving criteria was to offer each guitar the same protection as our single M80 hybrid case. After a year of prototyping, the Z-form design was perfected (patents pending). The end result is an incredibly light weight, extremely rugged double hybrid case. A first of its kind. This "zig zag" design creates a completely separate case for each guitar. That means both headstocks are protected with our Headlock feature and strap pin bumpers. It also means the M80 Dual can be used with 1 or 2 guitars - something you'll appreciate on the road. The Z-form design allows for immediate access to either guitar as well. The first guitar is accessed on the left side of the case, while the second guitar slots into the right side. High-tech materials and triple reinforced stitching make for an extremely durable product. 1) A two guitar case that can accommodate two floating trem Strats and not require the whammy bars to be removed before transport.

2) A two guitar case that doesn't weigh so much that it makes you just laugh and say "no f'n WAY!".

3) A two guitar case that is actually a gig bag, so it's light, but is reinforced and "plated" w/ ABS plastic like a hard case in all the most important areas so you don't have to freak about your guitars getting destroyed and kicking yourself later for trying this stunt.

So, there are three of the big reasons that my research led me directly to this case as a first and only option, and they were right on the damned money.

One thing I have learned after years of playing and going through gear: get what you want, and find a way to make it happen, instead of going through the expense, risk and frustration of getting second and third-best options that you will not be 100% happy with. Mine was used on eBay - I got lucky. Maybe you will too.

If you need a solution like this, this is THE one you want. All the features are well known. This review was to allay any fears.

You can strap it on your back. It is a bit heavy with both in it, but not at all unmanageable, and it can be adjusted so that the wearer (I am 6'1") will have it in pretty good balance. It is even more wieldy using the conventional (and very sturdy, I might add) guitar case-style handle.

It's an awesome, unique case.
