Thomastik-Infeld Plectrum Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings are soft sounding and have low tension on the bottom end. The E and B plain strings are made of brass coated steel. The wound strings have a silk inlay combined with a highly flexible steel core. The A, D, and G strings are polished bronze flatwound, while the low E is polished bronze roundwound. These are, by far, my favorite acoustic strings. They are somewhat quieter than typical acoustic strings, but for me, they hold their clarity for an extended period on my Guild electro-acoustic. Being flat wound (except for the E string), there is little string noise when sliding, which is one of the things I love about them. Plus, they feel better on my fingers being flat wound! Give them a try!
