For the money, not a bad unit. The mounting base IS somewhat flexible, which was useful in making it match the belly curve of the guitar. NO INSTRUCTIONS, but not a game changer. The under-saddle element was a little thicker than expected. It also has 6 'sensing pads', I assume for string balance. The sound quality is decent, again for the money. You will need to play with the settings to get your desired sound, a preamp is highly recommended.

ALSO, if your new to this, I found that masking the cutout area on the guitar, measure twice- cut once, and I personally used an utility knife to score the lines until penetration through the side works best. This led to no chipping of the finish, and worked out very well.

This is the first time to try the Martin MSP6050 strings and at first I wasn't well pleased...........they seem to just keep on stretching and requiring to be "Retuned" but when they finally reached their limit on stretching,the sound is good with a huge bang (loud) sustained sound, very well. These are on a Yamaha LJ16 and may do better on the Martin D28 or D35. I usually use the Elixir and they seem about the same.

Nanuk 915 Case with Cubed Foam (Graphite) Review

An inanimate womb for my Nikon camera's and Lens. The foam is very easy to form and craft, however plan very carefully because mistakes are fixable but use caution, save your foam! The case is lockable (I use medium Master 131T Locks) and also has a location for a shoulder strap if necessary. Construction is military grade and is, as stated, waterproof. I chose the light grey color, favoring black, however in the summer the heat and sun may cook the contents with black. I am very pleased with this purchase and from a standpoint of longevity it should last the life of the camera and protect the contents. By the way this case comfortabily fits my D90, Nissin Di866 Flash, Sigma 70-200 2.8, Nikon 18-105 3.5, Filters, Strap, Lens cleaners, and batteries.

Morley PVO+ Optical Volume Plus Pedal Review

i had only recently come to determine that i needed a volume pedal in my collection of stomp boxes. i had initially purchased a dunlop high gain (failure), and then tried out a few ernie balls (all failures), and even had the chance to try the new dunlop dvp1 (serious failure). all suffered from the same issue regarding the dreaded tone suck. while i have not traditionally been a morley fan, i have nothing but fabulous things to say about the pvo+. there is absolutely no tone suckage between my modded deluxe fat strat, my effects chain and my amp, or even from guitar -> pvo+ -> amp. if this would have failed, i'd have gone after a george dennis, but i figured those would have been a bit more difficult to come by. the morley's a keeper!

#1 They are very useful for any type of style, you can hold it like a normal pick, turn it to the side and make the guitar sound like it has some effects on it, or hold it the other way and it will be a little easier to play for beginers. I have a Taylor 416ce and it plays beautifully with my guitar

for the price and the amount this thing will cover (it actually covered only 2 12" main speaker 3 way X-over monitors I built) and after consideration of price/coverage/actual thickness of product
your better off buying acoustic felt by a long shot (i.e. for the price you spend you'll cover twice as much in acoustic felt ) BUT!!! if you're redoing a guitar cabinet or combo amp .....its again up to you but I'd spend a few more bucks and get a tweed or a thicker mil. product. this stuff is pretty thin------no..it IS thin period.---- get the "heavier mill" if it's something your taking pride in or wanting to play on stage.
