This is an excellent case for the price - light, beautiful design, well made, strong aluminum rim and 6 high quality latches with no exposed teeth that could gouge your guitar top. It's nicely sized for a classical guitar but a bit too short to use with an OM steel string guitar.

The case is stronger and more rigid than I expected in terms of sidewall flex and top deflection under pressure. It's more rigid than molded fiberglass and plywood cases of similar weight and price. It's not as rigid as a Hiscox Pro-Flite II, but that's heavier and costs twice as much. I would not check this case as baggage on an airplane flight, but it's plenty strong for carry on and for gigging. For comparison, I would likewise not check the Hiscox as baggage, nor any other case except a heavy and expensive flight case ($750+).
