This isn't a bad stand, but it has a couple of disadvantages a user should be aware of before they buy.

[1] The base makes it easy to bang guitars into one another. There are no separators and it is easy to put the guitar at rest with more weight on one rail than the other. Doing this will make the guitar twist into the adjacent guitar once you let go of the neck. The more expensive rack that folds into (what looks like) a small guitar case has separators that keep the guitars from knocking into each other. This rack might be worth investigating before you make a purchase.

[2] Portability - This rack is difficult to pack in your vehicle because of its height and width. It is as tall and deep as the storage space in my Ford Explorer.

[3] If you want to leave your guitar cable in your guitar when you put it in a stand, chances are you will need a second stand to supplement this one. Depending on where you input jack is, this stand may not accomodate you.

At the end of the day, I wish I had spent more money to get the one that folds into a small guitar case.
