I was initially impressed with the appearance and compact nature of this stand. It adequately accommodated my classic guitar some addition chambered-body accoustic/electric instruments that I regularly have on hand for teaching purposes at my practice. The Cooper Stand seemed to be an able holder of a number of widely shaped instruments with little difficulty.

What I have discovered after nearly six months of use, is that; this particular product is not stable, and cannot be relied upon to hold valuable instruments of any kind. In my prior review, I had stated that Cooper Stand was OK to relay upon for a "hot minute". It's not even that safe. Despite the attractive wood construction, it is apparent that the manufacturer has not concerned his/herself with possible cracking, splitting or other failure of the unseasoned wood that is used in this produce.

In short I really want to discourage consumers from purchasing this product
