I hate the smell of copper. After playing for a while with normal strings my hands smell like I have been holding a sweaty fistful of copper pennys! I hate that. These steel strings take care of that annoyance. Yes, they are not as mellow as strings containing copper. But I like to play Surf music so bright sounding strings are perfect for my style. I cant find these strings in local music shops. THX Amazon.
