Allparts used to sell real Schaller stuff. These are "made in China", according to the packaging, and aren't the real deal.

They appear to be cast - there's a parting line down the side - rather than machined, and the locking 'shoulder' is smaller, with rounded rather than squared edges. As a result, while they do work, the fit of the strap portion is sloppy, and they wiggle around and make a lot of noise.

I won't be buying these again, I'll buy Schaller - even if I have to buy the whole assembly.
